He's getting so big!! I need to get down there to see him again! Thanks for creating this site to keep us all updated! Loving watching Samuel grow and looking forward to watching him grow in person soon! :) Love you guys!
Dear Darren and Sarah, I have been praying for Samuel since Martha told us about his birth. God is a Great God, while some people would say why would you want to go through what you have an maybe they would think you are being cruel to put Samuel through all this, it is a miracle from God and He takes care of us even the little ones like Samuel. Robert was our preemie baby he was 5 weeks early, so not as early as Samuel, but he was a challenge with clothes everything newborn was too big but my mom bought him one preemie outfit and I still have it somewhere I guess I want to keep it to remember him as being so small. You wouldn't know it when you see him now that he was born that early. I love to look at his pictures you send. Hope to see some more after you bring him home.Robert wasn't on Oxygen when he came home, but I couldn't take him out in public until his due date. Love Betty McIrvin Martha's Mom.
Our son, Samuel was born on July 22, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Due in mid-October, he was born three months early, and will spend his first few months in the NICU at Mercy. Sarah and I have created this blog to keep our families, church family, and friends up to date on our son's progress. Please feel free to contact us or leave comments!!
